A good practice is to insist on involving policy makers by explaining the benefits of inclusion onto PAR. Explain that there is not only you who benefit, but also policy makers are the one who win at the end of the process.

Try to present them ideas connected to the interests of the whole community, if you are the "spokesman" of several entities or people your proposal will be stronger since it will represent a need shared and identified as a priority
