Try reaching to different sources of informations. Usually there are insitutes or NGOs who follow the work of government and they can provide you informations on the topics you are interested or at least to suggest you sources of informations. Have in consideration journalists, they cen be a really helpful source!

Check the assets of the community. Every citizens is a huge source of information.
